My name is Katie,

I am, by lineage, a Shaman from the Island of Ireland.
In the Irish language I am an Asarlaí.

I’ve been working with people and places on the spirit level for the past decade.
I have studied across the world and across the realms and have been committed solely to this work for many years.
I am skillful in my work and a mentor to other shamans and various animist guides in Ireland and around the world.

About Me

I am from two ancestral lines of magic people; many of whom suffered with their gifts greatly in recent generations.
I am very motivated by the deep intimacy of ecology, and accepting our root roles as beings of culture, community and compassion for each other and all things.

As a white Irish indigenous woman I consider the work that comes through me to be a form of activism around the roles, rights and responsbilities that come with being of land everywhere and remembering how to be human and walk in beauty and harmony in the whole ecology. My Irishness is a centre point around which I spiral into the world, I am blessed to have been born to this island, and I honour the nuance of finding home in the places where our scars are most evident.

I am taught by direct contact with nature and spirits, my first lucid encounters started in early childhood during initiatory accidents and sicknesses. My primary guidance comes directly from the spirit world. I have been fortunate enough to have encountered many different incredible human teachers at very important moments too.

My work is formed by a collective sense of homecoming. All beings on this planet with a body are indigenous in their genetic memory. We choose whether to live by that wisdom as we walk the songlines of our lives. When we do we create thriving that cannot be resisted.

As humans we are innately biodiverse and your thriving can be in your partnership, your vocation, your restfulness, or your creativity. My work does not expect us all to return to a naive ideal of some previous life, but instead a co-evolutionary impulse is within each being willing it’s spark to ignite, and that can look like anything once it’s struck by that impeccable light.

I am so in love with the world and I delight in the offerings and teachings that move through me. It’s so good to be able to know, at least to some degree, my role in this wild ecology during this turn of the wheel.
